Mistral likes his own web pages best but does agree that there may be one or two other quite good sites out there somewhere!
Bearing in mind the old saying that "quality is better than quantity"
he is recommending the following as maybe worthy of a glance or two.

The Philosopher's Magazine
Say no more! Just check it out!

Is it possible for a band to produce a CD on which every song is a winner?
Well, yes, if they are
Starsailor!
The CD is called 'Love Is Here' - it's been out for a while but still sounds great so go take a look at their website! And they didn't pay us a penny - honest!

Remember Lobey Dosser? Not that old? Well, now's your chance to get to know him!
Bud Neill's classic comic strip was first published in 1949 in Glasgow's Evening Times and charts the exploits of Lobey Dosser, the sheriff of Calton Creek, from his journey from Scotland to Arizona, to his clashes with his arch-enemy, Rank Bajin. Great stuff!!

Quizzes are always popular and there are lots at the Guardian Unlimited Quiz Room. Find out if you really do know it all!

Recommended by Alan Whiteley, the Lego website is well worth visiting for hours of idle fun and games so get along there right now!

Another great place for fun and games is The Wild World of Wonka It's based on the Roald Dahl books though you'd hardly know it but, what the heck, it's good fun!

And if that little lot was not enough for you, please proceed to
Old Favourites
where you will find a small selection of Mistral's previously recommended websites.

Mistral says, "Please contact me at once if you know of any other exceptionally interesting websites!"

You can send an email to mistral@cebula.freeserve.co.uk - sorry this is not a hyperlink but there has been an awful lot of spam coming to Mistral's mailbox lately so you will just have to type in the email address if you want to get in touch?
